Step 1: Find The HostGator Nameservers
Nameservers are the things that will point your domain name to the actual location of your website. As you are going to host your site on HostGator, you need to point your nameservers to the HostGator server.

Now login to HostGator Portal. Once you’re logged in, click on the ‘Launch cPanel’ button.
It will redirect you to the HostGator Control Panel page. Just scroll a bit and you’ll get the nameservers in the right-hand side.
Just keep this tab opened and move to the next step.
Step 2: Enter HostGator Nameservers On GoDaddy
Now login to your GoDaddy account. After logging to your account, you’ll be automatically redirected to the ‘Products’ page.
If you are not redirected, just click on your name from the higher right side corner and click on ‘My Products’.
Then scroll a bit. And you’ll find the ‘Domains’ section under ‘All Products & Services’. Simply click on the ‘Manage’ button beside the domain name that you want to connect with HostGator.
